 SHS Building Constraction
   Construction of New Facilities for the senior high school students to produce a successful and a great professionals. Another home will be soon establish for the learners to be more comfortable while studying , creating a good atmosphere or environment that will lead them to built up the best of themselves and perform each and every task of them to the fullest. Constructing New Facility for the learners keeps them close with their dreams and open up the door  opportunities for their own sake. It keeps the Senior High School students from Jose J. Mariano Memorial High School feel excited to study.

   Last November 22,2016 the current permit was issued at DENR Centre , Tabang , Guigunto, Bulacan. And the Constructing of the building was in hands of Framecon Builders . The government allotted P9,701,958.34 for the constract cost . It was a construction of three story , six rooms Bintog High School ( Jose J. Mariano Memorial High School) . The New Building is suggested to establish in the front of flag pole nearly in the Gate. But unfortunately it will took how months to be fully establish. 


   The construction of the senior high school building proves that our government has a plan for us . Now I am inform that our government is quite prepared for the K to 12 Curriculum . Although it was a bit late well despite of that At least it was now under construction . I can't wait for the time to came that the building was be establish because I really wanted to use this building to be our room in Grade 12. I am Hoping that the Government will response immediately in every needs of the senior high school students.

Activity #10 : Media and Information Literate Individual

   It is very advisable to be Media and Information Literate individual where you have the ability to assesses , access , organize , analyse and recognize the information needed and knew how to use it effectively . Especially now that we an access data and information, anywhere , any time , any device. There are different kinds of Media,  on the other hand the information is coming from media. But not every time media is a credible source of information that's why we have to be a Media and a Information Literate to distinguish if the information was lie or real. Now we can reflect how an individual imply all medias and informations they have.

   Media serves as the portal  for a better economic opportunities , to be a Literate one in both media and information pushes everyone not just to be locally but also to be globally competitive. Print Media , Broadcast Media and Internet are the types of Media which plays such an important role in students life. It is use to be as a tool for the learners to learn safely within the community or environment. The Opportunities and challenges in media and information which is  very important in every learners to create a positive movement within the school . Information Literacy is the utilization of information while Media Literacy is the consuming of information.

   Both Media and Information are literacy just simply because it was pertaining to "skill" of individual. Media Literacy help us to understand significant role of media in our society and how longly it influences users. And Information Literacy lead students in developing research skills essential in enriching their knowledge/  enhancing their comprehension.  It is very important in all discipline / all level of eduation.

Activity #9 : Current and Future trends of Media and Information

Media Innovation
 
 We are looking for the Current and Future trends of media and information , overviewing what will happen in the future media Innovation. The Curiosity in our mind is yet release we are continuing thinking of a prediction of the future media innovation. Looking forward to have a wearable technology such as iPhone watch , a 3D Environment such as 3D printer , 3D films, Holograms .  Since the future of Media is changing seemingly everyday. We must be aware about media and information and its innovation .

   There was a presentation with the help of BI Intelligence team, a premium research service from the Business Insider. In the presentation , Blodget details where the future of media is likely headed .

Here are the some of the keys takeaways:
• Digital media consumption is growing. Everything else is shrinking.
• Video, Music , Digital "print" subscription climbing fast.
• TV networks will soon feels newspapers pains.
• Native Digital Advertising will continue to thrive.

   Now i've got a better sight how media will look after so many years - in the future. It is necessary that Media innovation will happen this days as soon as possible . We are all familiar that media is Unstoppable , It never stops in evolving and upgrading. To be an information , media and technology literate will give us a better picture on media will work together with its innovation . And of course this innovation has an effect so we have to adopt it or accept it whether we like it or not.
 

Activity # 8: Oppurtunities, Challenges and Power of Media and Information

The Power of Media and Information causes Changes

   As we all know Media brings a lot of changes in our world and the world is continuously changing. The people is empowered like never before. It plays such an important role in our lives and use to influence us on how we will live. It was very obvious today that Media is everywhere , wherever you go in this World there always be a Media .  It can be a Print Media , Broadcast Media or Internet . Media is a good source of Information but do not forget to be a responsible user of Media.

   As Times pass and goes , media has been successfully upgrading and continuously upgrading. It serves as the portal for everyone not just to be locally but also globally competitive . Furthermore , Media opens a lot of door of Opportunities . Through media people now a days can find a work easily as they can but not all the time it is advisable to believe on what we see in media because sometimes lies is present there. If there's advantages of media of course it has dis advantages . A lot of people are not thinking critically and always believing on what they saw on the internet or media suddenly results a harm or risk from them . Misuse of Media and Information can still once safety . Media and Information really had the power to change and affect the life of an Individual.

   I do now believe not Changes is really constant , People change and media also changes . On a particular changes it always affecting someones life. Media and Information has the power to change , affect and influence our minds , our thinking . It can raised us and opens up doors of opportunities but it may also ruins life especially if we will not think critically and if we'll not use the filtering system. We must know the power of media and information and don't ever misuse it to avoid regrets.
 

Activity # 7: Legal, Ethical, and Societal Issues in Media and Information

Safe Learning Environment


   Every Students deserve to expand and widen their horizon , discover , learn , and gain knowledge that they never had before. And the learners or the students must have such a safe learning environment and community. A place where then they find a second home and a second family. Where in they know how to use filtering system properly and being an information Literate one. As a student seek to be a responsible users of media.

   Every students must have a proper conduct and behaviour online (Netiquette) - the etiquette in the internet. Everyone should always keep calm and remember their own Netiquette. Likewise studying the Plagiarism deeply will lead us to understand about the intellectual property from then we can avoid the copy right and use to have fair use of information. It molds the student to be a responsible users of media. And also to give as assurance for our safety online.

   Upon using media it is very important to Keep calm and remember my netiquette. Learned to be Media , Information , and Technology Literate. I will admit that it is quite hard to avoid plagiarism especially when I am in trouble in my own assignments. Most of the time  I use to forgot citation therefore I claims others works as mine. Now I found it very wrong from there I will always avoid plagiarism and copy right and probably I'll paraphrase a certain information at any chance.

activity # 6: Media and Information Languages

 BATTLE OF THE QUINGUA


   Last December 19,2016 there was a big event happens in  Don Caesareo, San Diego Gym, Poblacion, Plaridel , Bulacan;   Gabi ng Kabataan. This Youth Night has its theme "Kilos Kabataan Droga ay Labanan" . Seven are competing including our school Jose J. Mariano Memorial High School. The 1st Place will get P20,000 , the second place will receive P15,00 , the third place will receive P10,000 and the will get a consolation prize of P3,000 . Each and every schools made a lot preparations they give so much time and effort to win the competition. Every Schools is fighting for their respective Pride.

   All of the Schools competing are all competitive . We watch how all the representative students give their best in performing theatre . All of the sacrifices of them are really worth it because everyone perform with all of their best and to the fullest but suddenly in every competition there is a winner and there is a loser. The placer was the Dampol High School , the second placer was the Richwell Collages of Plaridel and the First place goes to Dr. Felipe De Jesus National High School . From there we can see how the teachers , principals from different schools have supported their representative students to show case their best and perform to the fullest.


   This event within Plaridel proves that success can be easily achieved through Unity . As well in using media and information it is very important to observed the unity in the proper usage of the said medium. Furthermore, in connection of the celebrated event the promotional strategies used shows proper dissemination of the theme being targeted to accomplished. It touches the awareness of the youth in the war  against drugs that we are facing. Not with standing, media and information used in this event are well handled and are very helpful for everyone as it reached not just our mind but also our heart.

Activity # 5 : Media and Information Sources

    During the American-Philippine War the Battle of the Quingua began. The Battle of the Quingua fought on April 23 1899 , in Quingua - now Plaridel, Bulacan , Philippines. This is the one of the very known  historical significance in Plaridel. Where we can see the prove of the the bravery of Filipinos lead by Colonel  Pablo Tecson , a revolutionary officer from San Miguel Bulacan. From the Battle of the Quingua we can reflect how strong Filipinos is. People living in Plaridel treasure this great Historical event.

   By simply Going into Library and consult a librarian we can review about the Historical event : The battle of the Quingua. But we are looking into a simplest & fastest way we can use Internet as a source of information to know the significance historical place of Quingua -now Plaridel. We can also conduct an interview to an elder from our community to have a better overview regarding the Historical significance in Plaridel. The Battle of the Quingua not just happen without a reason or a purpose it opens our eyes that we Filipinos are really Fighter Yesterday , Today and tomorrow. We , people living in Plaridel owe are freedom to our Beloved Heroes such as Marcelo Del Pilar , Gregorio Del Pilar etc .

  We have different Media and information sources such as : Indigenous , Library , Internet , etc. Theres a lot of sources but we need to be Media and Information literate one . If I were to choose among these three sources I'll choose the Library because people Now a days have forgotten the essence of the Print media ( books , magazines etc.) in the Library . On the other hand among the three internet is the simplest and the fastest . We need to recognize , locates, assesses , organizes all the information coming from different sources.
