Activity # 4 : Types of Media

   Featuring the best School for me , Jose J. Mariano Memorial High School . I am not Afraid to shout out to the whole world that I'm product of beloved school . I will be one of the successor of the future by the help of own School Jose J. Mariano Memorial High School. Where there I found a Place to study effectively and to built up the best of myself and doing something to the fullest. Upon studying our School Portrayed to use different kinds of Media as a learning to tools to Teach us their students. It serves as the path way to rise or produce a Perfect student who will be successful in the future.

   Proud student here : Im really proud of my School . It pushes me learn new things in my life and open up the doors of opportunities. In our School our most of the time our teachers uses Print Media as a tool to teach us , commonly they are using different books for our subjects in Math , Science , English etc. I use to remember when I was in Grade 9&10 Our teacher in ICT thought us about New Media (Internet) , I experience to made a Powerpoint presentation , reformat a computer , assemble and disassemble System Unit where in I found it really interesting. And sometimes our English Teacher allow us to watch movies such as Percy Jackson , Trojan war etc. as a tool to learn.

   Different types of Media such as Print Media , Broadcast Media , and New Media (Internet) portrayed to use in every school as a learning tool to bring out what's best for a student like me. Being aware about media help us not just to focus on the local stage but in Global stage to be Globally competitive. Especially now Media is such a credible source of information. It serves as a host of every changing , every developing interfaces, impacting the world around us. Now I quite realizes that Different types of media is played such an important thing my life.

Activity # 3: Blog site and Website

BLOG SITE AND WEBSITE

   We are all familiar about the Blog site and website , what is the purpose of it. Blog site and website is the way of the blogger to inform their target reader and gives their opinion about a certain topic or issue . But not all what we see or what we read  in a Blog site or website is True there is a fake information so we have to be an Information Literate .  We must learn to recognize when the information is needed  and how to use it ethically.  And knowing how to defines information needs , locates, access , assesses , organizes , and communicates information.
   
   Somehow Blog site and website is one of a good source of information especially for us , students whose searching in doing an assignment. Information Literacy is the utilization of information . It is the ability to recognize when information is needed and evaluate , effectively use and communicate into its various formats. But we have to remember that whenever we use an information coming from any Blog site and Website we should avoid Plagiarism instead of doing it why not using the citation to demonstrate ethical use of information . The main reason why an individual should cite information in a research is that to give credit where Credit is due and of course to provide evidence of your claims.

   Achieved to be an Information Literate will help everyone of us to be wise in recognising an information. Use every information ethically avoid Plagiarism and instead of it use to Cite a reference of your information. As a Student I must use every information effectively and recognize if it was needed. Don't just focus on a one source and find different sources and sink in my mind that not all information and true so I must use Filtering System. Thinking Critically will help us to dig information deeply.
 
 

Activity # 2 :History of Media

     Everything has a great History , and Media also have its great History . Media serves as our medium in communication. When Media begins it forms such an important roles in everyone lives. It was continuously influencing our lives . Therefore each and everyone must know how media started and when it was started .

    As time pass and goes it happens to have the Evolution of Media from a Traditional Media go into New Media . Firstly we have the Prehistoric age , Secondly we have the Industrial age , Thirdly we have the Electronic age , and Lastly New( Information) Age . Cave Painting , Gutenberg press , photographs , video player , radio, computers etc. are the example of Media .  Media functions well and created such a huge roles in democratic society. It Store and transmit information either  Audio and Visual.

   We therefore conclude that media played a very important role in our lives and it use to influence once life. The Media is important in a way it serves as the Portal in which people communicate around the world . Probably there are some people who can't live without Media . It's history must be known and showcase to everyone . Now Media is continuously Evolving and upgrading.

 

Steps In Creating Google Docs

 Before I was Writing my reports , assignments , portfolio through Print Media but now I was able to made it in an easy way through digital way . Here are the steps in Creating Google Documents:
1ST STEP : Go to Gmail.com and log in your Gmail account( if you have) or create/sign in(if you don't have.
2ND STEP: After you will see different apps by google and click the docs.
3RD STEP: And you will see different types of docs and click the blank.
4TH STEP: Type whatever you want to type.
5TH STEP: After that you can click the file and see the rename button to change the docs name to easily identify your finished work.
6TH STEP: Log in your edmodo account (if you have) or create edmodo account (if you don't have)
7TH STEP: Go back to the gmail docs and copy the URL of your finished work.
8TH STEP: Paste the link in your edmodo to post or to comment.

BLOG VS. ARTICLE

Most of the time we've got confuse between a Blog and an Article because both topics involve are serious and formal but the truth is they are different from each other. Blog posts is shorter than an article which is compose of more than 300 words. In article our own opinion is not allowed the information must be True and have a reliable source while in the Blog posts it is mostly contains the blogger own opinion. Therefore now we found out that in blog research are not necessary unlike in Article Interviews, Research are pretty much needed and required.

Mind Map: literacy media, Information and technology literacy

                                               Media , Information and Technology are Literacy . Media Literacy is the ability to read, evaluate, analyze, and produce communication in a variety of forms. Information Literacy is the ability to recognize when information is needed and use it effectively.

Technology Literacy is the ability to acquire relevant information and use of modern days tools to get, manage, apply and create to communicate information. We have to be a Media , Information and Technology Literate these three are Literacy because it is a "skill".
Media Literacy  is the consuming of information . Technology literacy is  the producing of information. And  the Information Literacy is the utilization of  information .
